The Forno Hut is located on a gorgeous rock terrace in the Val Forno, in Switzerland’s Graubünden region, with a striking view over the Forno glacier and the surrounding peaks.

Valley village / starting point: 7516 Maloja (situated on the mountain pass of the same name, on the border between the Upper Engadine and the Bregaglia)

Maloja is accessible by public transport throughout the year or by car via the Bregaglia or the Upper Engadine.

There is a large parking area outside of the village, free of charge. You’ll find the entrance at the first bend south of the pass summit.

The Forno Hut is only accessible on foot. There is a choice of two trails from Maloja which can be combined into a beautiful circuit.
